The sunlit grounds of Allely Estate played host to an unforgettable afternoon of indulgence and joy at our recent Italian Long Lunch event. Guests were treated to a feast for the senses as they dined in the warmth of the afternoon sun, accompanied by the delightful tunes of musician and songwriter Jaz Paterson. The talented Geoff Salisbury captured the essence of the event through his stunning photography, preserving memories that will be cherished for years to come.
Our Italian Long Lunch promised to transport guests on a culinary journey to the heart of Italy, and it delivered in every way possible. The feedback we received was overwhelmingly positive, with guests raving about the amazing food, the inviting atmosphere, and the undeniable feeling of being immersed in an authentic Italian long lunch experience.
The event was a celebration of good food, great company, and live music that resonated through the air, creating a sense of community and connection among all who attended. Guests shared a communal table, whether with old friends, cherished family members, or new acquaintances from the community, fostering connections and creating lasting bonds over mouth-watering Italian dishes and lively conversations.

Long tables, covered in checkered tablecloths, lemons and greenery also had overhanging sun umbrellas. The dining experience was elevated by flowing wines, beers, and cocktails, with each course enhancing the aromas and tastes of Italy. Upon arrival, guests were welcomed with a complimentary glass of their choice – from the classic Aperol Spritz to bubbles and beer – setting the tone for an afternoon of pure enjoyment and Italian flair.
As guests savoured each course from the sharing platters, they were serenaded by live tunes and soulful singing that filled the air with melody and magic. The music intertwined seamlessly with the flavours, creating an atmosphere that perfectly complemented the Italian feast and made the afternoon truly unforgettable.
Whether basking in the sunshine or seeking shelter under the umbrellas or trees, guests enjoyed a comfortable and inviting setting to partake in this culinary adventure. Rain or shine, we had everything covered to ensure a delightful experience for all who joined us for the Long Italian Lunch with Live Music – however on this particular day the sun was shining and the warmth in the air provide the perfect ambience.
Marking their calendars for a day of culinary bliss, vibrant melodies, and new connections, guests immersed themselves in the joy of Italy without leaving their seats. It was an experience not to be missed, and we were thrilled to see so many embrace the magic of the event.
The menu, featuring an array of delectable dishes from antipasto to dessert (including catering for dietaries), delighted guests with each bite and created a true Italian dining experience. Never-ending food, flowing beverages, amazing tunes and lots of conversation ensured that guests could continue to enjoy the delights of the day.
At Allely Estate, we value our guests’ experiences and strive to provide memorable events that leave a lasting impression. We had many celebrating wedding anniversaries, birthdays and many friends coming together off the back of a long summer.
As the day came to a close, guests departed with full hearts, satisfied appetites, and memories of a truly magical Italian Long Lunch at Allely Estate AND NEW FRIENDS.
