What song did you walk up the aisle to?
Apna Bana Le (Female Version)
Q. Why did you choose Allely Estate as your Wedding venue?
We had always said we wanted something outdoors and romantic, we fell in love as soon as we saw the place and enjoyed that we were able to have a little room and space to ourselves for the whole day before the event started later on in the afternoon. I think the marquee is beautiful and it was good the menu could acommodate to our cultures
Q. Did you have a theme or vibe?
We honestly didn’t! The vibe was come as you are and enjoy your time. We didn’t even have a seating chart. We literally just had a sign saying ” no sides, just good vibes” Everyone was free to sit where they liked.
Q. Did you incorporate any tradition?
We incorporated hindu and middle eastern traditions! It was like watching fireworks – Waiting to see what the tradition would come out with.
Q. What was your best decision about the wedding?
Having outdoor with so much greenery and keeping the decorations very simple. Having massive family photos – These were epic.
Q. How did you both meet? What is your personal 'love story'?
We both were set up as MCs for a 21st birthday party, without knowing each other, our friends thought it would be funny. We were a hit on stage and made the whole room laugh, took us about 6 months to get on a date thought. We definitely are opposites but decided to see where it would go! and here we are.
Q. Tell us about your favourite wedding moment?
So many to pick from! Seeing two cultures, two religions and family from different parts of the world come together and dance the second part of the night away! The hindi Garland exchange was so emotional for me and the middle eastern knife dance for the cake cutting ceremony gave me goosebumps
Q. What advice do you have for other couples?
Just enjoy your day! Never fret the small stuff. If something happens on the day, deal with it later, chances are you had so much fun you will forget about it.
