On the day of the event, we focus on impeccable execution, ensuring a smooth flow and exceptional guest experience.

We tailor each wedding or event by first understanding the client’s unique vision through thorough consultations. Our team then customizes every aspect, from decor to food, and even entertainment, to reflect the client’s preferences and ensure their vision is brought to life seamlessly.

No 2 events are the same, so ensuring we follow the brief and plans, during set up and the event, allows all people involved, vendors and family/friends, to present their event to meet the vision our couples or clients have.

Our team is well-prepared to handle last-minute requests or changes by maintaining open lines of communication with the client and all departments involved. We have contingency plans in place and the flexibility to adapt quickly, ensuring that any changes are implemented smoothly without causing stress to our clients.

Last minute changes and requests are not uncommon. We work together, with whoever, be it vendors or the clients, to ensure we best meet the change and compromise where needed.

Q. In what ways does our delivery team collaborate with other departments, such as catering, decorations, and logistics, to orchestrate successful weddings and events?
Collaboration is key to our success. We work closely with the catering team to ensure seamless food service, coordinate with decorators for cohesive themes, and manage logistics to ensure everything arrives on time. This collaboration ensures that all elements come together seamlessly on the day of the event.

Communication is key! Although we have a few different groups, kitchen staff, setup crew, and front of house, that make up the Allely family, we communicate with each other and work together to ensure a smooth delivery for each event.
We are also familiar with quite a few vendors – they are almost an extended part of the Allely family – so we are able to work around and with each other easily.

Auckland weather can be unpredictable and with outside ceremonies, sometimes chairs get wet. We are always quick to make sure seats are dry – who wants a wet bum when you’re dressed to impress?

We’ve successfully navigated challenges such as sudden weather changes, last-minute vendor cancellations, and unforeseen guest allergies. Each time, our team’s quick thinking and proactive approach ensured that the event proceeded smoothly, and our clients were delighted with the outcome.

With a very last minute wedding, due to a cyclone making another venue unusable, the planning had a very quick turnaround! The setup was outside our many different “norms”, but we were able to adapt. A few minor changes were needed and we discussed with the bride and groom once they arrived, in a very stress free manner. Working with the kitchen on food delivery for that particular wedding was necessary and worked seamlessly. The bride and groom, their family and guests were over the moon with what we managed to pull off, after the very stressful situation for them of needing a last minute venue change.

We stay current with trends through ongoing training, industry research, and attending relevant events. This allows us to offer clients the latest in wedding and event trends while still maintaining the timeless elegance that Allely Estate is known for.

Q. What are each of your highlights re weddings and events over the years?
Some highlights from my time at Allely Estate include creating unforgettable experiences for couples on their special day, seeing the joy and happiness on their faces, looking after special family or friend guests who need extra care, being a part of turning our couples vision into reality, and receiving heartfelt feedback and gratitude from clients.

There have been some incredible couples with the most amazing group of people around them. Seeing that is so special, and I always like to let the couple know.
I love seeing the ways couples make their events unique, through decorations, items or a special gesture.
Getting to see and experience different cultures’ weddings has been just wow – the Chinese dragons is definitely up there!
