Executive Chef
Allely Estate was the venue for the NZ Bride and Groom Wedding of the Year 2020 – a wedding that was planned and delivered within one month. As our Executive Chef you could be looking to scale back from the pressures of restaurant life or seeking to focus more on leadership and sharing your extensive experience across an already established team. We would be open to either full time or reduced working hours (25-30 per week) to suit the right candidate. Reporting to the Director, this is a great opportunity to work with the owners to deliver outstanding event experiences for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Leading a committed team to deliver outstanding dining experiences for our event guests.
- Manage the kitchen staff- including rostering, hiring, managing and training.
- Have experience in managing a catering environment for up to 400 guests.
- Promote a team environment by looking after your team.
Requirements
- Have prior experience as a Head/Executive Chef.
- Reliability and passion for the role and the business.
- Willing to have an open mind and work with the owners in weekly/ monthly management meetings.
- Calm under pressure and promotes a fun environment.
- Have flexibility to work weekends and nights, over the course of a 7-day week.
