From making memories, to timeless moments.  We help create them all at Allely Estate.  Allely Estate, with hidden manicured gardens in the heart of Kumeu, is a sought after premier function and wedding venue. 

Allely Estate was the venue for The Bride and Groom Wedding of the Year last year and we are shaping up to have a very solid season from August onwards.  This growth means we seek applications for Dedicated Front of House Casual Staff to help us deliver outstanding customer service experiences for our guests.

Skills and Experience:
  • Ideally experience in a similar role (we are open to no experience for those willing to learn);
  • Track record of being an outstanding team player and customer service.

Responsibilities and Duties.

We have two shifts which will be made available to you.  One is a set up event shift and one is event delivery.  Some of the responsibilities and duties include:

  • Set up of the event and following the instructions of the management lead for set up;
  • Ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, compliance with licensing law;
  • Delivery of service – from plate serving, buffet serving and drinks;
  • Clearing tables of empty glasses and plates from meal service and relaying when requested;
  • Re-stocking the bar as requested;
  • Polishing silverware and assisting the kitchen with dishes at peak times;
  • Assisting with customer queries in order to achieve a satisfactory outcome;
  • Pack-down post event and completing duties correctly and that cleanliness and maintenance are maintained as requested from you on the run sheet;
  • Providing excellent customer service to guests and creating a great rapport with customers and your peers;
  • Practicing health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times; and
  • BRINGING SMILES to work every day.

We also occasionally have hours for other AD HOC shifts to do with our Open Day at Allely Estate and also cleaning bee days.  We like all staff to be fully committed to the bigger picture of running a venue and having a well-oiled team at the front.

Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
