🎬🌟 A year ago, the enchanting grounds of Allely Estate served as the backdrop for this captivating film, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to see it all come to life on the big screen. Shot right here in Kumeu at Allely Estate, the film showcases our stunning venue in all its glory.
Behind the Scenes: A Year in the Making
Cloaked in secrecy and wrapped from the public eye, the filming of ‘Give Me Babies’ was an exciting and mysterious event. The production team set up in our Villa, transforming it into a bustling hub of creativity and talent. Our marquee served as the central stage for many pivotal scenes, while actors practiced their craft among our lush gardens. The atmosphere was electric, with every corner of Allely Estate buzzing with the energy of the film crew and cast.
A Cinematic Masterpiece
Allely Estate provided the perfect setting for this cinematic masterpiece. Our beautifully manicured gardens, elegant Villa, and versatile marquee offered the ideal backdrop for the film’s enchanting story. As we prepare to watch the story unfold, we’re filled with pride knowing that our venue played a significant role in bringing this vision to fruition.
Celebrating the Premiere
Calvin Sang wrote before the premiere, “I am proud to present the trailer for ‘GIVE ME BABIES,’ @artkita @briarcollard ‘s and my action-comedy riot coming to @tvnz.official on the 11 May! Starring the wonderful @roxiemohebbi @the_girl_in_the_cafe @mel.odedra and Alvin Maharaj.”
This incredible opportunity came through Catherine Cooke’s good friend Holly Pollock, Head of Production for Eyes and Ears and Line Producer for ‘Give Me Babies.’ Holly, who used to own The Cafe on TV3, worked with Catherine to help many businesses develop amazing digital videos of their operations after COVID.
