What song did you walk up the aisle to? ‘Can’t Help Falling in Love’ (the Crazy Rich Asian version)
Q. Why did you choose Allely Estate as your venue?
We instantly fell in love when we walked through the luscious gardens and couldn’t imagine our wedding being anywhere else.
Q. Did you have a theme or vibe?
Rustic yet modern/minimalist.
Q. Tell us about your favorite moment
Athina and her team literally pulled off our wedding within days as we had been affected by Covid. We went into lockdown 3 days before our original wedding date and had to move dates.
Q. Did you incorporate any tradition?
Yes, we wore traditional Fijian attire during our reception.
Q. What special touches were important to you?
Making sure the wedding incorporated both our personalities. From the invites right down to personalised cookies and hand sanitizer which said “Spread love, not germs”.
Q. What was your best decision about the wedding?
Finally getting to marry my best friend and having Athina help us make it the most memorable day.
Q. Advice for other couples?
Breathe!
Have a glass of wine or beer and enjoy your special day. The day goes by so quickly.
