One of the most remarkable stories that unfolded at Allely Estate was the Wedding of the Year 2020. Allely Estate was the chosen venue, and Joni & Alistair’s wedding was planned within one month.
We were humbled to be involved in their love not only for each other but for what their families were experiencing with Joni’s warrior mother’s cancer battle and her wish to two soulmates get married. Joni and Alistair trusted with us to surprise their family and friends and shave each other’s heads in honour of Joni’s mum and raise money for the cause. It was one thing to be involved in this special surprise, however it is one of the most tear jerking and powerful moments we’ve witnessed. Cecilia & Marcel's and Kim & James's Last-Minute Weddings: Overcoming Cyclone Challenges
In addition to Joni & Alistair’s & Anna and Brendan’s wedding, along with many others, we have successfully hosted last-minute weddings for couples facing unexpected challenges from Cyclone Gabrielle – February 2023. Cecilia and Marcel, as well as Kim and James, had their wedding plans disrupted with their venues unable to continue to host them. Our team at Allely Estate stepped in to ensure their dream weddings became a reality.
