Q. Why did you choose Allely Estate as your venue?

We attended their open day and fell in love with their catering! It had a beautiful, lush garden setting for an outdoor wedding, plus an elegant marquee for an indoor reception. Allely Estate was the right fit for us – it suited the number of guests we had and our wedding requirements, ticking all our boxes.

Q. Did you have a theme or vibe?

Rose gold and blush tones.

Q. Tell us about your favorite moment

Anand: Waiting to see my stunning bride in her beautiful white dress.
Pearl: Walking down the aisle to my hubby-to-be!

Q. Did you incorporate any tradition?

Yes, for the outdoor garden ceremony we exchanged rings, said our vows, exchanged garlands (a Hindu tradition), and performed the sand ceremony. We were blessed to have the lovely Valeria as our celebrant who helped incorporate our tradition and guided us throughout the whole ceremony.
For the indoor reception, I (the bride) got changed into Indian attire for the reception and performed a small Indian dance with my Dad and brother.

The bridal room is located a few steps away from the marquee which was perfect. It’s a decent-sized private room that enabled me to get changed quickly and have my solo pre-wedding photos taken there as well.

Q. What special touches were important to you?

Our wedding card, guest favors and mirror frames…
We designed and printed our own wedding cards with blush/ burgundy floral design and rose gold foiling.
Our wedding favors also served as guest ‘name tags’ for the table settings – each guest got a blush candle hand-tied with burgundy satin ribbon and their name in customised gold (all 160 of them!).
We spray painted mirror frames with rose gold paint and had ‘Welcome’ and ‘Table Seating’ custom sign-written on the mirrors.

Q. What was your best decision about the wedding?

Keeping our ceremony outdoors even though it was forecasted to rain at the time (we got lucky as it poured down much later!).

Incorporating some Indian traditions whilst keeping it relatively simple and enjoyable for all.

Athina and her crew did an amazing job in bringing it all together for us.

Q. Advice for other couples?

Attend Allely’s next open day as it gives you a perspective of what the space feels like, plus a lot of different ideas on the way your day/night will look and feel at Allely.
On your big day, just let go of it all! You’ve come this far, done all the planning, and prepped for it so when THE DAY finally arrives, assign your schedule to your MC or best man or bridesmaid, and let them liaise with the crew at Allely. It’s YOUR big day so dance the night away, eat, drink, mingle with family and friends, and capture every moment – both in your photos and memories!
