Q. Why did you choose Allely Estate as your Wedding venue?
Choosing a venue is one of the most important parts of a wedding plus we have to consider Covid that’s why we were stressing out a bit when we cannot find a venue that suits us. We checked out different places and when we went to Allely Estate, we fell in love with It. Also, a big thank you to Athina who made our wedding planning really smooth and ease our worries away.
Q. Did you have a theme or vibe?
Our theme was pink and gold, we wanted it simple and elegant.
Q. What special touches were important to you?
The photos of my parents and grandpa were tied around my bouquet. They get to walk me down the aisle even if they are not there physically.
Q. What was your best decision about the wedding?
Following Athina’s advice to not stress out so much, enjoy every step of the wedding planning. I myself was stressing out before we visit Allely, I haven’t been to a wedding and I don’t really know what to do. Allely’s staff has been really awesome and the vendors they recommend. Even though the weather was a bit rough on the wedding day itself, we did not worry a bit because there is already a plan B in place.
Q. How did you both meet? What is your personal 'love story'?
We met in Takapuna beach just right before Jennifer’s flight going back to the Philippines for a month-long holiday. We continued to talk and got the chance to meet again when she came back. After a few months, she introduced me to her aunty who interrogated me and bombarded me with questions like what is my plan five years from now, and what my intentions are with Jennifer. And now, we are married.
Q. Tell us about your favourite wedding moment?
Our favourite wedding moment is when we first saw each other as I am walking down the aisle and the speeches by our family and friends during the reception
Q. What advice do you have for other couples?
Just do what will makes you happy and enjoy every step of the planning

Thank you to all the staff of Allely Estate for looking after us and our guests. Despite the not-so-good weather, our wedding day still became magical.
