Q. Why did you choose Allely Estate as your Wedding venue?
We fell in love with the venue, the gardens were beautiful. It had everything we wanted. We were sold on the dance floor. We knew our wedding would be a big party and we needed somewhere that would cater to it.
Q. Did you have a theme or vibe?
No theme or vibe. We just wanted an amazing, happy night!
Q. Did you incorporate any tradition?
Ali is from the Middle East so we had lots of dancing to their songs. It was fantastic!
Q. What was your best decision about the wedding?
To have it at a venue that had everything on site.
Q. How did you both meet? What is your personal 'love story'?
We knew each other’s best friends. We had our first date in Auckland City. We had pizza at Sals then went to mini golf. We had ice cream at mission bay beach.
Q. Tell us about your favourite wedding moment?
This is hard. Genuinely, the whole day was like a dream. I loved the dancing with everyone. I loved when we walked down the aisle as husband and wife. It was a surreal but exciting feeling!
Q. What special touches were important to you?
I loved the staff and how attentive they were. They made sure we were happy and had everything we needed. I loved our photographer, Chris was just outstanding. He made our day that extra special. The hair and makeup were amazing!! It was really special to have such talented people making us all feel beautiful.
Q. Any further comments?
We just had the best day! Truly was outstanding, we couldn’t have asked for anything more. Athina was so helpful and made the process so easy. Thank you for helping us make our day a reality!
Q. What advice do you have for other couples?
Do what you want to do. It is your day and have it however you would like. Also, make sure you take time as a married couple. It can go by fast so just have 10 minutes to soak it all up together!
