Besides our garden, one of the most commented-on elements of Allely Estate is our food. Our chefs are so talented and so passionate about what they do – and it shows on the plate! We often see guests taking sneaky snaps of their plate before they start eating and it’s not unusual for us to get emails from guests after the event saying how good the food was – our chefs really are that good!
To keep them feeling excited about what they do, we change up the menu each season. Some of the new items for the season ahead include:
– Eye filet, wrapped in bacon and grilled on buttery crushed potato, with baked mushroom and shallots with a red wine jus – and it’s gluten free!
– Grilled chicken breast with herb and garlic-marinated potato rosti and served with a creamy wild mushroom glace (also gluten free)
– Grilled salmon filet with lemon-buttered new potatoes, wilted spinach topped with hollandaise sauce (GF).
How about our posh take on steak, eggs and chips: a seared New York-cut sirloin, served with crispy potato batons, watercress, poached egg and a bearnaise sauce?!
Our gourmet BBQ is also proving a popular choice this season for corporate events and Christmas parties – easy, fun, and so delicious.
But our brides seem to be most excited about our new desserts: our opera torte, selection of macarons (including strawberries and cream, lemon meringue and passionfruit!), luxurious caramel and praline tart, and last but not least, the rhubarb and strawberry tart.
Our chefs cook for all dietary types and cultures, so if you have any requests, please just ask!
